Fancy helping the famous ALICE in her JUMBLE LAND?

lightsAfter a very successful ‘7 Brides for 7 Brothers’ production in June and two whole months of R&R, we are now ready to do it all over again. Yes, read through and auditions start on Tuesday evening 6th September at 7.30pm in Heacham Public Hall.

If you fancy treading the boards and being in these ‘spotlights’ please give us a call (Chairman Dave 01485 570402) or pop in and see what we are all about. We are always needing backstage crew, sound/light crew, prop making, scenery painting etc, if treading the boards is not your thing?

Our Pantomime next January 2017 is ‘ALICE in JUMBLE LAND’ written by the very clever and funny script writer, Jim Race. With 19 to 25 characters, PLUS a horse, travelling off to
four different countries of the world, it all bodes well for a fun filled family production. If you have Tuesday evenings free with a little more free time nearer the production dates, it would be great to see you. We meet every Tuesday from 7.30pm to 9.30pm (later as we get into January).

If you would like to join the Pocahontas Players for the Panto, important production dates are:
Thursday 19th January 2017 (7.30pm)
Friday 20th January 2017 (7.30pm)
Saturday 21st January 2017 (2.00pm & 7.30pm)
Plus the very important Sunday 15th January (all day dress rehearsal).

Age for joining the drama group is 13 years old to 90 plus!

It is hard work but it’s absolutely worth it as the finale curtain closes, hearing the audiences shout out “MORE! MORE! MORE!

Thank you – Janice, on behalf of The Pocahontas Players
